Technology is an acronym that includes different types of direct human activities such as knowhow, knowledge, invention and innovation, and plays an important role in explaining measurable economic variables such as productivity, growth, employment and competitiveness.

Technology Entrepreneurship is a tool that provides wealth for individuals, businesses, territories, and nations.

There are some factors that reveal technology entrepreneurship:

• Advantages based on technology and knowledge

• Changing and increasing competition

• The increasing importance of knowledge and technology capital

• Emerging new sectors

• The necessity to be flexible, responsive, proactive and innovative

• Superior innovative technologies able to create value and respond to consumer needs

For the reasons mentioned above, technology entrepreneurship has had different definitions since the past. The definitions in the literature suggest that technology entrepreneurship covers the following subjects (Bailetti, 2012): • operating small businesses owned by engineers or scientists, • finding problems of or applications for a particular technology, • starting new ventures, introducing new applications or seizing opportunities based on scientific and technical knowledge, • working with others to produce technology change.

Motivation, technical management skills and business management skills are three key factors that characterise the performance of technology entrepreneurs.

4. The Prodigy: The Prodigy is blessed with an inherent business sense and is instinct, and leverages these skills across all facets.

5. The Strategist: A creative and tactical thinker, The Strategist always comes up with effective and efficient game plans.

6. The Visionary: The Visionary is constantly on the lookout for new and innovative ideas and devising new ways to put them into action.
